Antes del partido, Espárrago hablaba de la importancia de mantener el 0-0 y buscar la oportunidad para sorprender a la contra. Desgraciadamente la estrategia se fue al traste a los minutos tras el gol deVilla.Sin embargo, hay algunos aspectos positivos a destacar del partido. No podemos esperar que el Cádiz vaya a Valencia y se traiga la victoria. Solo unos pocos equipos en el campeonato pueden hacer eso. El Valencia es uno de los grandes y perder ante ellos no es el fin del mundo. El Cádiz viajaba con numerosas bajas de jugadores importantes: Medina, Pavoni, Mirosavljevic, Benjamín, Armando y Ania son todos muy buenos jugadores y con ellos en el campo el partido habría sido distinto. Tampoco Estoyanoff pudo jugar, lo que complicó la situación aún más.

Aún así, el equipo que pudo poner Espárrago en liza hizo un trabajo tremendo. Enrique mostró una gran determinación y nos metió de nuevo en el partido con un remate con la pierna izquierda. Quizás haya encontrado de nuevo la forma de principios de temporada. Tras el empate, el Valencia marcó 3 goles seguidos. Esto cerró el partido, pero lo importante fue que el Cádiz en ningún momento se dio por vencido. Sesma nos volvía de vuelta a la pelea en dos ocasiones tras sendas grandes acciones.Lo que el Cádiz debe traerse de este partido es que ha sido capaz de golear por tres veces a una de las mejores defensas de la liga. Se fajaron en la pelea, que es lo que hay que hacer para mantenerse en Primera. Afortunadamente, Espárrago trabajará en los aspectos defensivos de cara al próximo partido ante el Betis. Tenemos que sacar los puntos contra ellos!!! ¿Quizás el Tano Vella sea una de las claves?Por cierto, la primera división sueca, llamada Allssvenkan, comenzó este fin de semana. Hay un equipo de Växjö llamado el Öster está en una situación parecida al Cádiz. Son recién ascendidos y provienen de una ciudad pequeña. En el primer encuentro se enfrentaron a uno de los equipos más fuertes de la liga, el IFK Goteborg. El partido se disputó en un patatal a casi 0 grados de temperatura. El partido no fue muy bueno y acabó en 0-0. Durante el encuentro pensaba que me hubiera gustado más haber estado en el Carranza en camiseta y pantalón corto que aquí. Aunque aquí haya pocos jugadores jóvenes y baratos, estaré atento para avisar al Cádiz por si encontrara alguna estrella en ciernes. ESE CADIZ OE!!!Olof Friberg

Valencia – Cádiz CF –A fall in the right direction
The defeat against Valencia was heavy and we would really needed three points from that match. Before the game Espárraggo talked about the importence of keeping 0-0 and hopefully scoore one on a counterattack. Unfourtunatly that stratergy worked for only 2 minutes because of David Villa.
There is however a few very positive things to bring from the match. You can not really expect Cádiz to travel to Valencia and bring home three points. Only a few teams in the league can do that. Valencia is one of the great and a lost game against them are not the end of the world. Cadiz had a lot of injuries on important players. Medina, Pavoni, Mirosavljevic, Benjamín, Armando and Ania are all very good players and with them in the team the game would have been very different. Also Estoyanoff was missing which made an already difficult situation worse.
The players which Esparággo had to laborate with did it great however. Enrique showed great determination and took us right back in the game with a left footed shoot. Hopfully he might regaine his form from earlier. After Enriques equiliser Valencia scoored three in a row. That sealed the matcch but the important thing is that Cádiz never gave up. Sesma took us back in the game with two outstanding performances.
What Cádiz should bring from this match is that they scoored three goals against one of the best defenses in the whole league. They kept on fighting which they will have to do to stay in the Primera. Hopefully Espárrago will work on the defensive tactics until the next game against Real Betis. We really have to take all the points from that match! Maybe Tano Vella is the answer?
By the way, the swedish highest division called Allsvenskan started this weekend. A team from Växjö called Öster are in a similiar situation as Cádiz. They are newcomers in the highest league and coming from a smaller town. They played agaisnt one of the leagues best team named IFK Göteborg. The match was played on something looking as a farming field in just above 0 degrees celsius. The match was not very good and ended 0-0. During the match I badly wished that I would had been at the Carranza in shorts and T-shirt instead. Altough there are a few cheap and great young players in the league. I will keep an eye on them and tip Cadiz for potetial new stars!
